Overnight index futures chatter — what (if anything) hits your statement

Futures move while you sleep. Most household accounts do not. Here’s the gap between desk noise and your PDF.

Sample markets explainer. Asset Wire does not publish live futures levels as if they were your brokerage balances.

Index futures can gap overnight. Brokerage and retirement statements usually settle on their own calendar. Watching a futures ticker is optional; reading your last statement date is not.

If you use a net-worth app, check the refresh timestamp on each account. Stale cash or delayed equity lots explain more “mystery” moves than overnight futures headlines.

The market strip on Asset Wire is delayed public data when feeds resolve, or Sample when they do not — never a trade ticket.
